A suspect is in custody following the murder of a veteran American Airlines flight attendant during a layover in Denver. The victim, 71-year-old Celinda Levno, was tragically caught in a series of seemingly random stabbings over the weekend.
24-year-old Elijah Caudill was apprehended late Sunday evening by the Denver Police Department in connection with four separate stabbing incidents. American Airlines confirmed Levno, based in Phoenix, was among the victims, expressing their heartbreak and offering support to her family and colleagues.

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants, the union representing American Airlines flight attendants, also confirmed Levno's passing and offered condolences. They highlighted her long career, starting in 1989 with America West, which eventually merged with US Airways and then American Airlines in 2013. The union stated that crews on layover in Denver would be relocated to a hotel near the airport, though the incident did not occur at the layover hotel itself.

The initial stabbing occurred around 5:17 p.m. on Saturday. Responding officers discovered Levno with neck wounds, along with two other injured individuals. Levno was rushed to a hospital but later died. A second male victim, stabbed late Sunday, also succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not yet been publicly released.

Investigators have found no apparent connection between Caudill and the victims, and the motive remains unclear. Caudill is currently held without bail, facing charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder. Authorities are urging anyone with information or relevant footage to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. A GoFundMe page has been established to assist Levno's family with funeral expenses, remembering her as a kind and generous individual dedicated to her family, friends, horses, and music.
