At 42, Seth Rogen is perfectly happy without children. In a recent interview, the actor and comedian discussed his and his wife Lauren Miller's decision to remain child-free after 13 years of marriage.
Rogen, promoting his Apple TV+ series "The Studio," told Esquire, "People have strong opinions, saying things like, ‘Who does he think he is not to have kids?’ But if you dislike me that much, why would you want more of me? Have kids only if you truly desire them. For us, that moment of ‘Let's do it!’ never arrived."

Rogen admitted facing criticism for his choice. "The most unsettling comment I often see is ‘Who will care for you when you're old?’ That implies having children solely for elder care, which is selfish. And even with kids, there's no guarantee they'll provide that care."

This isn't the first time Rogen has addressed this topic. On the "The Diary of a CEO" podcast in 2023, he stated that not having children contributed to his success. "It's a major life aspect I'm not engaging in. I'm not oblivious to what raising children entails, having been around many. Many friends have had kids for years. Some want kids, some don’t. We’re often told, ‘Get married, have kids.’ That's the expected path, but neither my wife nor I felt that way. Frankly, we're grateful not to have children. It allows us greater freedom."

He concluded, "We're more self-aware and intelligent than ever. We understand each other better and can achieve a level of work, communication, mutual care, and a shared lifestyle we couldn't have before."
