In a disturbing case, six individuals have been arrested by the FBI for their alleged involvement in a human body parts trafficking operation linked to Harvard Medical School. Cedric Lodge, the former morgue manager at Harvard Medical School, and his wife, Denise Lodge, are among those accused. The others indicted include Katrina Maclean, Joshua Taylor, Jeremy Pauley, and Matthew Lampi.
Lodge is accused of stealing organs and other body parts from cadavers donated to the medical school for research and educational purposes, before their scheduled cremation. Authorities allege that between 2018 and 2022, Lodge transported these stolen remains from Boston to his residence in New Hampshire. He and his wife then allegedly sold the body parts.

Court documents reveal that the suspects used social media platforms to communicate about their illicit activities. The indictment details Lodge's alleged theft of various body parts, including heads, brains, skin, bones, and other human remains. He is also accused of allowing Maclean and Taylor access to the morgue to select and remove body parts for purchase. These remains were often shipped using the U.S. Postal Service.
Maclean operated a business called Kat's Creepy Creations, which she used to sell the remains to buyers throughout the United States. Her business's Facebook page describes her as an "artist of horror, macabre, oddities, and everything creepy."

In one instance, Maclean allegedly purchased two dissected faces from Lodge for $600. In another, she is accused of shipping human skin to Pauley for the purpose of creating leather. Financial records show that Pauley sent over $40,000 to Taylor through PayPal, and Taylor subsequently transferred $37,355.56 to an account belonging to Denise Lodge, using memos like "head number 7" and "braiiiiiins."
