Smerconish even mentioned the FBI informant's claim of payments to both Hunter and Joe Biden, a claim dismissed by the president. Smerconish's willingness to address these allegations underscores the broader media's reluctance to cover the story. This reticence allows President Biden to seemingly defy scrutiny, as noted by New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, who observed Biden's apparent ability to deflect criticism when facing mounting pressure.
