During a Tuesday press conference focused on a $500 billion investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, former President Trump discussed the letter left for him by former President Biden in the Oval Office's Resolute Desk. He characterized the note as "inspirational" and "very nice," suggesting he might eventually share it publicly.

Trump described the letter's message as encouraging him to "enjoy" the presidency, emphasizing the importance of the role. He expressed his appreciation for the sentiment, adding that it had a positive tone.

The letter, addressed to "47," was discovered with the help of Fox News Senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy. Trump initially joked about potentially not finding the letter for years. He later stated he would open it Monday night.

Trump's return to the presidency marks a unique situation, as he received a letter from both his predecessor and successor, Biden. This is due to Trump being the first president since Grover Cleveland to serve non-consecutive terms. Biden, while acknowledging receiving a "very generous" letter from Trump during the previous transition, has kept its contents private.
