A devastating collision involving two passenger buses and a truck has resulted in the loss of at least 15 lives and left dozens injured in Mali. The incident occurred on a Tuesday morning between the cities of Fana and Konobougou in southern Mali, according to Mama Djenepo, the secretary general of Mali's Ministry of Transport.

The two buses, en route to Mopti, collided with a truck transporting livestock that was traveling in the opposite direction. Authorities suspect that driver fatigue and excessive speed contributed to the tragic accident.
