Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs' unexpected absence from the start of mandatory minicamp practices on Tuesday triggered concern from head coach Sean McDermott, who expressed his apprehension about the star player's no-show. While the team later clarified that Diggs was present at the facility on both Monday and Tuesday morning, his departure prior to practice fueled speculation and uncertainty.

Diggs' agent, Adisa Bakari, confirmed to The Associated Press that his client was indeed at the facility when practice commenced. Furthermore, Bakari informed ESPN that Diggs had spent the preceding two days in meetings with both McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, assuring that Diggs "will be there for the entirety of camp."

Amidst the swirling uncertainty, Bills quarterback Josh Allen addressed the situation, offering reassurance and support for his teammate. Allen emphasized Diggs' importance to the team's success, stating, "This does not work what we’re doing here without him." He further affirmed his unwavering support for Diggs, saying, "I’ve got his back no matter what and I’ve got no doubt that we will figure out what’s going on. I love him."
