Real Estate Tycoons Face Mounting Sexual Assault Allegations

Created: JANUARY 24, 2025

Prominent real estate brokers Tal and Oren Alexander, along with Oren's twin brother Alon, are facing a growing number of sexual assault accusations. The brothers, currently in federal custody in New York, were arrested in Miami Beach on December 11th. Over 60 women have come forward with allegations, with 11 new claims filed just this week in New York Supreme Court.

The new lawsuits detail alleged assaults in Miami, Manhattan, and even Moscow. Many accusers describe being offered drinks before experiencing disorientation and assault. One woman, Leah Peters, has chosen to use her real name, while others have filed anonymously as Jane Does.

Peters alleges that Oren Alexander assaulted her at a Miami house party in 2018 after luring her away under the pretense of a property tour. Another accuser claims she was drugged and raped by both Tal and Oren at a New York City party in 2013. A third woman describes a similar experience in Miami in 2011, where she alleges she was drugged and raped by both brothers after they invited her to an after-party.

The brothers' attorneys have dismissed the lawsuits as financially motivated and lacking merit. They point to a lack of physical evidence and contemporaneous documentation. Alon Alexander's attorney claims his client passed a lie detector test denying any wrongdoing. However, prosecutors have released video footage of alleged victims recounting their experiences. One woman describes a terrifying encounter in Miami Beach in 2016 where she claims she was raped by the brothers while another man restrained her.

The brothers’ legal team has also accused the law firm Morgan & Morgan of unduly influencing the criminal investigation, alleging that the firm’s involvement has tainted the case. Morgan & Morgan denies these claims, asserting their commitment to seeking justice for their clients. A judge has denied the brothers bail, citing them as both a flight risk and a danger to the community. The case continues to unfold, with a hearing scheduled for February 27th to address the defense's motion regarding Morgan & Morgan's involvement.
