Former President Donald Trump's recent indictment on 37 federal counts related to classified documents has sparked outrage from Fox News co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro. During a segment on "The Five," Pirro expressed her fury, asserting that the justice system has been weaponized against Trump from the moment he began his political career.
Pirro pointed to the Russian collusion investigation as the starting point of this alleged targeting, highlighting the Durham report's findings and Hillary Clinton's involvement. She criticized the FBI's actions in obtaining FISA warrants, claiming they violated Trump's Fourth Amendment rights and spied on his presidential campaign based on a manufactured hoax. Pirro then brought up the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, accusing the FBI of influencing social media platforms and interfering in the election by falsely labeling the laptop story as Russian disinformation. She further criticized the involvement of 51 CIA intelligence agents in perpetuating this narrative.
Turning her attention to Special Counsel Jack Smith, Pirro labeled him a "loser prosecutor" with a political agenda, citing his past Supreme Court setbacks and the John Edwards case. She argued that the indictment, centered around the Presidential Records Act, is a civil matter being treated as a criminal one. Pirro believes the narrative of the indictment is designed to evoke espionage and connect it back to the Russian collusion allegations, further fueling public suspicion. She concluded by dismissing the entire situation as "nonsense."
