Nine women have come forward with new allegations against Bill Cosby, accusing the comedian of drugging and sexually assaulting them in Las Vegas between 1979 and 1992. The lawsuit, filed in Nevada federal court, follows recent legislation eliminating the state's two-year statute of limitations on sexual assault charges for adults.
One of the accusers, Lise Lotte-Lublin, expressed relief at the opportunity to seek justice, stating that this is the first time she's been able to fight for herself in this matter. Previously, her accusations against Cosby, alleging he drugged and assaulted her in 1989, were barred due to the time limit.

The other plaintiffs detail similar accounts, claiming Cosby drugged them in various locations, including private residences, dressing rooms, and hotels. One woman, who remains anonymous, alleges Cosby lured her from New York to Las Vegas under the guise of mentorship, only to assault her. Cosby's representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
This lawsuit comes just weeks after a former Playboy model, Victoria Valentino, filed a separate suit against Cosby in California, alleging he drugged and assaulted her in 1969. Valentino's case was made possible by California's temporary expansion of the statute of limitations for adult sexual assault survivors.

Cosby, now 85, was the first celebrity convicted in the #MeToo era, found guilty in 2018 of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand. He served three years of a three-to-ten-year sentence before his conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2021 due to a prior agreement not to prosecute him.
