Minnesota Man Accused of Murdering Wife Found Dead on Roadside

In a tragic incident that unfolded in late June, a Minnesota man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife, whose body was discovered along a road. 47-year-old Tony McClelland was taken into custody following the discovery of 49-year-old Angela McClelland's remains near the intersection of Legend Lane and Killian Road in Fort Ripley Township on June 25th, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities believe Angela McClelland was fatally struck by a vehicle. The couple resided together in Fort Ripley.

Investigators spent two weeks piecing together the events leading up to Angela's death. Tony McClelland is now facing charges of second-degree murder and criminal vehicular homicide. The motive remains unclear. Sheriff Eric Klang had previously appealed to the public for any information related to the incident.
