In a bizarre incident on January 27th, 36-year-old Dylan Keith Devereaux led Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed chase while sporting a Dalmatian onesie. The pursuit began just after midnight when troopers attempted to stop Devereaux for reckless driving. Following a car chase, Devereaux crashed into a tree and fled on foot. Officers deployed a taser, bringing him down temporarily, but a struggle ensued, requiring a second taser deployment. Devereaux, still partially restrained, escaped into the woods. A K-9 unit tracked him to his nearby residence. Upon arrival, Devereaux's girlfriend informed officers of drugs inside the home. Subsequent searches led to the discovery of narcotics and the arrest of both Devereaux and his girlfriend.
