Griffin pointed to Trump's knack for inserting himself into major events, citing his Super Bowl attendance and interview as prime examples. She also mentioned his involvement in halting the TikTok ban as another illustration of his proactive media engagement. Griffin argued that this strategy allows him to outmaneuver both traditional media outlets and his political opponents.

She suggested that Democrats are relying on a strategy reminiscent of the 1990s, assuming appearances on traditional news programs will suffice. Griffin believes they need to adapt to the evolving media landscape and find new ways to connect with the public, given Trump's command of modern communication channels. His successful use of podcasts and engagement with influencers during his election campaigns were cited as evidence of his effective communication strategy.

Griffin also noted that Trump entered office with a pre-existing policy agenda developed over several years. Her co-host, Ana Navarro, emphasized the need for those opposing Trump's policies to forge alliances and present a united front.

Expanding on her initial point, Griffin encouraged Democrats to find common ground with some of Trump's positions and engage in conversations with those holding different viewpoints. She used herself as an example, stating that while she agrees with some of Trump's actions, she finds others dangerous and reckless and feels compelled to speak out.
