Despite these challenging circumstances, Moss declared himself a cancer survivor, highlighting his resilience.

Former teammates and organizations rallied behind Moss with messages of support on social media. Julian Edelman, a former Patriots teammate, praised Moss's mental fortitude, while Rob Gronkowski expressed confidence in Moss's ability to overcome this challenge. Moss recently stepped away from his analyst role on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" on December 6th, but expressed his hope to return as soon as his health allows.
