Duck Takes Unexpected Flight on Cedar Point's Millennium Force Roller Coaster

A feathered friend experienced an unexpected thrill at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, this week, hitching a ride on the renowned Millennium Force roller coaster.

The adventurous duck apparently boarded the high-speed coaster mid-operation, likely flying into a moving train car, according to Cedar Point spokesperson Tony Clark.

Rather than waiting for park personnel to intervene, a quick-thinking guest took charge, safely escorting the avian passenger off the ride. Clark confirmed, "The guest decided to immediately remove the duck herself."

Cedar Point described the incident as "quite the adventure." The Millennium Force, known for its impressive speeds of up to 93 mph, was honored with Amusement Today's prestigious "Golden Ticket Award" for best steel coaster in 2019.
