New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently expressed on Twitter that she's facing unprecedented levels of harassment on the platform, criticizing Twitter Safety's effectiveness. This comes after Twitter Safety announced a partnership with Sprinklr to combat hate speech, reporting a significant decrease in hateful content visibility compared to both their internal estimates and pre-acquisition data.
Ocasio-Cortez's tweet suggested that the platform's changes, including the removal of verification from numerous accounts, have hindered meaningful discussions. She also previously criticized Elon Musk, Twitter's CEO, for allegedly amplifying a parody account impersonating her. While the account clearly identifies itself as a parody, adhering to Twitter's guidelines, Ocasio-Cortez expressed concern over its reach and the spread of misinformation.

This isn't the first time Ocasio-Cortez has clashed with Musk since his acquisition of the platform. The congresswoman has been a vocal critic of Musk's changes to Twitter's policies and practices.
