A preteen from Georgia finds himself facing a multitude of charges after allegedly breaking into a surprising number of cars, a feat made more remarkable by the fact he's too young to legally drive any of them.
The Griffin Police Department apprehended the 12-year-old boy on Wednesday, according to Fox Atlanta. He currently faces 84 counts of entering an auto, with an additional five counts of criminal trespass. Authorities indicate that further charges are anticipated.

The alleged break-ins occurred over the past month, primarily targeting businesses situated along the North Expressway Corridor. Security footage played a key role in enabling investigators to pinpoint the young suspect.

Due to his age, the boy's identity has been withheld by law enforcement. This case highlights a concerning trend of vehicle-related crimes, reminding car owners to remain vigilant and take precautions to secure their vehicles.
