Former President Donald Trump extended Thanksgiving greetings to all Americans, including those he termed "Radical Left Lunatics," in a message shared on his Truth Social platform. He reiterated his commitment to "Make America Great Again" upon assuming office in January 2025.
In his post, Trump criticized the "radical left," accusing them of attempting to undermine the nation. He expressed confidence in his vision for the country, stating that America will regain respect, productivity, fairness, and strength under his leadership.
Trump also shared a photograph with law enforcement officials, offering them Thanksgiving wishes. While his Thanksgiving location remained undisclosed, he traditionally celebrated the holiday at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, often referred to as the "Winter White House" during his first term.

Since declaring Mar-a-Lago his primary residence in 2019, Trump has been actively involved in the transition process, collaborating with his team to select cabinet members following his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

Reports emerged that several of Trump's cabinet nominees and appointees received threats, prompting a law enforcement response. Among those targeted were John Ratcliffe (CIA director nominee), Pete Hegseth (Defense Secretary nominee), Elise Stefanik (UN ambassador nominee), Brooke Rollins (Agriculture Secretary nominee), and Lee Zeldin (EPA administrator nominee).
