Transgender Activists Spark Controversy at White House Pride Event

Created: JANUARY 24, 2025

During President Biden's Pride Month celebration at the White House, a video surfaced of transgender activists exposing their chests, sparking widespread condemnation and debate on social media. The video, initially shared by transgender TikTok influencer Rose Montoya, depicts Montoya and another activist baring their chests on the South Lawn with the White House visible in the background.

The video also shows Montoya interacting with President Biden, expressing gratitude and advocating for transgender rights. President Biden attempts to take a selfie with Montoya and other attendees.

A White House spokesperson swiftly denounced the activists' behavior, deeming it inappropriate and disrespectful. The spokesperson clarified that such actions do not reflect the celebratory nature of the Pride event and stated that the individuals involved would not be invited to future White House events.

The Pride Month event, adorned with rainbow banners and flags, featured performers and speakers supporting LGBTQ+ causes. President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden praised the LGBTQ+ community for their bravery and inspiration.
