Former President Donald Trump has stepped back onto the international stage following his recent election victory, commencing with a visit to France for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. This trip marks his first international appearance since securing his second, non-consecutive term.
A key event of the visit was a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Presidential Palace in Paris. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also joined the discussion. Macron welcomed Trump, acknowledging his previous visit as president and expressing appreciation for his past solidarity and support.

Prior to the meeting, Trump hinted at discussions concerning the current global state of affairs, emphasizing his strong relationship with Macron and his admiration for the French people. He stated their intent to address the current global instability.
Following the Notre Dame reopening ceremony, Trump is scheduled to meet with Prince William, who is representing King Charles III at the event. While President Biden is not expected to attend, First Lady Jill Biden will be present. A planned meeting between Prince William and the First Lady at the UK residence in Paris was canceled due to weather, and they will now meet at the ceremony itself.
