In a thrilling NBA matchup on Tuesday night, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young delivered a spectacular game-winning shot from half-court, sinking the Utah Jazz 124-121. With the game tied and mere seconds remaining, Young received the inbound pass, took a single dribble, and launched a 49-foot bomb that swished through the net as the buzzer sounded.

The stunning shot sent Young's teammates into a frenzy as they celebrated the improbable victory. Young, known for his long-range prowess, calmly stated after the game, "This is part of what I do." He emphasized his ability to create plays for his teammates and his court vision, saying, "I feel like I’m the kind of guy who can pass you open. You don’t just have to be open for me to get you the ball."

Young finished the night with an impressive double-double, tallying 24 points and 20 assists. Describing the game-winner, Young explained his thought process: "I knew we had three seconds. I could take a couple of dribbles and be closer to half-court, and then I made sure I used my legs and put some air into the ball."
Hawks coach Quin Snyder commended Young's performance, highlighting his efficiency despite shooting 6-for-16 from the field. Snyder noted, "He has taken a lot of pride in being efficient and knowing when it is time to give the ball up and when it’s time to impress himself on the game from a scoring standpoint."

For the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen led the scoring with 35 points, while Collin Sexton, who tied the game moments before Young's heroics, added 24. With the win, the Hawks improved their record to 19-18, while the Jazz fell to 9-26.
