Texas 7-Eleven Employees Assaulted After Refusing Sale to Minor

A group of five individuals, including two adults and three minors, were apprehended following an attack on two 7-Eleven employees in Mesquite, Texas. The incident, captured on cell phone video, unfolded after the employees declined to sell a cigar to an underage individual.

The Mesquite Police Department reported that the minor who was refused service returned to the store with a group of others. The confrontation quickly escalated, with some of the suspects jumping over the counter, physically assaulting the clerk, and throwing objects at both employees.

19-year-old Ahliyah Turner of Garland was arrested on outstanding warrants, while 21-year-old Kiara Beale of Dallas faces charges for assault causing bodily injury. The three juveniles involved were charged with two counts of assault, criminal mischief, and theft.

Fortunately, while both employees sustained facial injuries, they did not require hospitalization. The incident occurred on June 3rd at the 7-Eleven located on Faithon P. Lucas Boulevard.
