Police have made an arrest in the case of stolen luxury vehicles belonging to college sports stars Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder. Tykwon Anderson, 20, was taken into custody on Thursday, identified as one of four individuals allegedly involved in the theft, which included a Lamborghini, among other high-end cars.
Miami-Dade County Sheriff's deputies responded to the couple's residence early Thursday morning after Beck and Cavinder reported the theft of their silver Mercedes-Benz AMG, red Lamborghini Urus, and white Range Rover while they were asleep. Law enforcement successfully recovered the Mercedes and Range Rover within hours, but the Lamborghini remains missing.

According to police, Anderson and three other masked suspects arrived at Beck's home around 3 a.m. Thursday. One suspect gained access to a vehicle in the driveway and used the garage door opener to enter the house and obtain the keys to all three cars. Authorities believe the suspects used a rental car registered to Anderson to travel to Beck's residence, utilizing the vehicle's tracking data to locate Anderson and link him to the crime scene.

Anderson is currently facing charges of grand theft, vehicle theft, and burglary, and is being held without bail at the Miami-Dade jail. Court records do not yet list legal representation for Anderson.
This incident follows a recent trend of burglaries targeting prominent athletes. Earlier this week, seven Chilean nationals were charged in Florida in connection with a nationwide burglary ring targeting the homes of professional athletes, including NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. The group is accused of stealing an estimated $2 million in valuables.

Former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, who recently declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after undergoing season-ending elbow surgery, initially intended to pursue a professional career. However, he later changed his plans and committed to the University of Miami, joining his girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder.
