A Greenville, North Carolina real estate agent has been apprehended and charged with three counts of murder following a triple homicide that spanned four different crime scenes. The suspect, 55-year-old David Hansen Lever, was reportedly held at gunpoint by the son of two of the victims until authorities arrived.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office launched the investigation on January 10th after discovering three individuals with fatal gunshot wounds. While the connections between the incidents are still being investigated, authorities have confirmed they are related.

The victims have been identified as Tony Gribble (80), his wife Paula Gribble (76), and 64-year-old Enrique Reyes. While the relationship between Lever and Reyes remains unclear, reports indicate the Gribbles had employed Lever as their realtor during a home purchase in 2014.
According to Sheriff Paula Dance, the Gribbles' son, TD Gribble, likely prevented further violence by holding Lever at gunpoint. A subsequent search of Lever's residence uncovered a disturbing cache of over 50 weapons, with additional firearms and ammunition found in his vehicle.

During his court appearance, Lever reportedly directed expletives at District Court Judge Daniel Entzminger. TD Gribble, mourning the loss of his parents, described them as devoted and caring individuals. His father was a decorated Marine veteran, while his mother dedicated her career to nursing education.

Information suggests Lever was a partner at Lever & Russel Real Estate LLC, where he held the positions of broker and agent. County records indicate the company possessed multiple properties.
