A 71-year-old karate instructor from Hanover, Maryland, is facing serious allegations of sexually abusing a child over several months. Harry Craig Conaway faces 28 charges, including second-degree rape, second-degree assault, perverted practice, and prurient intent, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. Conaway also faces charges of third- and fourth-degree sex offense and sex offense of a minor.

Conaway taught private karate lessons in a converted storage shed on his property, which he referred to as his dojo. Police say the alleged abuse occurred both inside and around this structure. Following the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at Conaway's residence.
