Following the finalization of the divorce, expected next month, Lopez intends to revert to her maiden name. The divorce filing occurred on the two-year anniversary of their lavish Georgia wedding celebration. The couple initially wed in a smaller Las Vegas ceremony in 2022, with Lopez taking Affleck's last name at the time.

Their relationship began over two decades ago on the set of "Gigli." They were first engaged in 2002, but postponed their wedding and eventually separated in 2004. They rekindled their romance in 2021, leading to Affleck's proposal and their subsequent weddings.
