A devastating head-on collision in rural western New York has resulted in the loss of a third life. Dahlia J. Klink, 24, succumbed to her injuries on Sunday night, two days after the tragic accident involving her younger brother.
The crash occurred Saturday afternoon in the town of Freedom when Evan R. Klink, 21, crossed the centerline while driving his pickup truck, colliding head-on with his sister's vehicle.
Two passengers in Dahlia Klink's car, 6-year-old Molly Kibler and 17-year-old Havanah S. Lopez, died at the scene. A 4-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries. Evan Klink and his 19-year-old passenger, Cameron Klink, were also injured, with Cameron requiring airlift to a hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident and have not yet confirmed the relationships between all the individuals involved. Evan Klink was taken to a state police station for evaluation following treatment for his injuries.
