Ronaldo, currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, recently addressed the media, expressing his views on the MLS and the potential of joining the league.

The Portuguese star unequivocally stated his belief that the Saudi league surpasses the MLS in quality. He further solidified his commitment to the Saudi Pro League by declaring he has no intention of playing in the U.S., returning to the Premier League, or joining any European club. At 38 years old, Ronaldo believes European football has experienced a significant dip in quality, with the exception of the Premier League, which he considers far superior to other leagues.

Ronaldo emphasized his pioneering role in paving the way for other elite footballers to join the Saudi league. He cited players like Karim Benzema, Marcelo Brozovic, N'Golo Kante, and Roberto Firmino as examples of those who have followed his lead to the Middle East. He confidently predicted that the Saudi league's influence will soon overshadow that of the Dutch and Turkish leagues.
