Following the immense popularity of the Honey Deuce at the US Open, the Australian Open has partnered with Grey Goose to introduce its own signature cocktail: the Lemon Ace. This refreshing drink incorporates local and seasonal ingredients, featuring fresh citrus, passion fruit, and mint.
Aleco Azqueta, Grey Goose's global vice president of marketing, expressed hopes that the Lemon Ace will become as synonymous with the Australian Open as the Honey Deuce is with the US Open, enriching the fan experience.

While experiencing the Lemon Ace firsthand in Melbourne would be ideal, Grey Goose has generously shared the recipe for those who wish to recreate it at home.
Lemon Ace Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1⅓ ounce Grey Goose Vodka
- 5 ounces Sparkling Lemonade
- ½ ounce Passion Fruit Syrup
- Lemon Zest
- Fresh Mint
Instructions:
- Fill a chilled highball glass with ice and add Grey Goose Vodka.
- Pour in the sparkling lemonade and passion fruit syrup.
- Garnish with fresh mint and lemon zest.
For an extra touch, Grey Goose suggests crafting a "spinning tennis ball" garnish. Use a speed peeler to obtain a wide strip of lemon zest, press it flat with a bottle cap to create a circular shape, and carefully lift it with a toothpick.

When creating the zest garnish, focus on the yellow part of the lemon peel, as the white pith can impart a bitter flavor.
