Fox News has announced a shake-up of its programming schedule, with "FOX & Friends Weekend" co-host Will Cain taking the helm of a new weekday show. "The Will Cain Show" will occupy the 4 p.m. ET slot starting January 21st. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott emphasized the network's commitment to evolving with the media landscape and highlighted Cain's diverse background in news, law, and entertainment as key assets in delivering insightful analysis to viewers. The new program will feature discussions with prominent figures from the realms of politics, business, culture, and sports.

Will Cain is also the host of "The Will Cain Show" podcast, which will continue to post new episodes as well as simulcast on FOX News Digital.

Cain expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity, noting his experience interviewing a wide range of guests during his weekend tenure at Fox News. His existing podcast, also titled "The Will Cain Show," will continue to release new episodes and be simulcast on FOX News Digital. Filling Cain's weekend slot will be Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt, who will join Rachel Campos-Duffy on "FOX & Friends Weekend" beginning January 18th. Hurt will be leaving his position as opinion editor of The Washington Times to take on this new role.

The programming changes also include the expansion of "The Fox Report" and "The Big Weekend Show" to two hours each on Saturdays and Sundays, starting January 18th. Furthermore, FOX Business Network's Dagen McDowell will join "The Big Money Show," expanding its weekday airtime from 12-2 p.m. ET starting January 27th, while continuing her co-hosting duties on "The Bottom Line."
