A new Netflix docuseries, "American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson," sheds light on two potential witnesses whose accounts were omitted from Simpson's 1994 murder trial. These individuals claim to have encountered Simpson on the night of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman's murders.
Jill Shively alleges a near-collision with a white Ford Bronco, driven by a man she identified as Simpson, less than a mile from the crime scene around 11 p.m. She recognized his voice from a recent "Naked Gun" movie. Despite testifying before the grand jury, Shively was never called to the stand during the trial, partly due to her selling her story to a tabloid TV show and allegations about her credibility.

The second witness, Skip Junis, claims he saw Simpson at LAX around 11:30 p.m. that night, discarding a wrapped item in a trash can. While Simpson's defense argued he was home awaiting a limo to the airport, Junis's account raises questions. He states he reported his observation to the police but was never called to testify.

Lead prosecutor Marcia Clark declined to comment or participate in the docuseries. Simpson, acquitted in the criminal trial, later faced a civil lawsuit and served time for armed robbery. He passed away in April of the previous year.
