TSA Officers Arrested for Alleged Theft at Miami International Airport

Three Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Miami International Airport face charges of organized scheme to defraud after allegedly stealing from passengers during security screenings. Josue Gonzalez, 20, Elizabeth Fuster, 22, and Labarrius Williams, 33, were arrested and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Detention Center. The investigation began following multiple reports of theft at Security Checkpoint E. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the officers working together, using distraction techniques while others rifled through passenger belongings, primarily targeting cash. In one incident, they allegedly stole $600 from a single passenger. According to reports, Gonzalez and Fuster confessed during interviews, while Williams declined to comment. The TSA emphasized its commitment to high ethical standards and stated that employees involved in misconduct will be held accountable.
