Tripadvisor has unveiled its Travelers' Choice Awards, highlighting the top US destinations for 2025 based on user reviews and ratings. New York City secures the top spot for the third consecutive year, lauded for its iconic attractions like the Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. These landmarks saw a nearly 10% increase in reviews compared to the previous year.

Oahu, Hawaii, claims the second position, experiencing a significant 27% surge in reviews, particularly from business travelers. Las Vegas rounds out the top three, with a notable rise in family and couple visitors, evident in a 43% increase in family traveler reviews.

The Florida Keys jumped to fourth place, a considerable leap from Key West's tenth position in 2024. New Orleans follows in fifth place. Nashville and Charleston maintain their strong presence on the list, while San Francisco and Washington, D.C., replace Miami and Maui in the top 10.

Tripadvisor will announce further Travelers’ Choice Awards throughout the year, covering categories such as Beaches, Hotels, Things to Do, and Restaurants.
