Boston Police are investigating two incidents of apparent vandalism at TD Garden, home to both the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins. The arena's exterior windows were damaged, likely by BB or pellet guns, according to reports. The first incident occurred on June 1st, involving a single window. A second incident followed on June 9th, with two double-pane windows sustaining damage resembling a spiderweb pattern. TD Garden employees reported hearing two loud “smacks” around the time of the second incident. While officers searched the area, no bullet fragments or casings were found. No injuries were reported in either case. Both the Bruins and Celtics seasons are over, with neither team playing at TD Garden until the fall. The Bruins, despite a record-breaking regular season, suffered a disappointing first-round playoff exit against the Florida Panthers. The Celtics, holding the second-best record in the NBA, also fell short, losing to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.
