Spain has officially declared the end of the COVID-19 health crisis, lifting the mask mandate in healthcare facilities and pharmacies. This decision follows a progressive easing of mask requirements over the past couple of years, starting with public spaces and later extending to public transport. While the pandemic significantly impacted the nation, with 14 million reported cases and 122,000 deaths since 2020, the government now deems the health crisis over. This new measure, approved during a Cabinet meeting, will be officially implemented upon publication in the State Gazette shortly.
