While absent from the initial welcome ceremony at Horse Guards Parade, Queen Camilla joined the festivities later, attending a luncheon at Buckingham Palace for the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani. King Charles, the Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton), and Prince William were present for the full welcome.

This health setback follows an earlier announcement in November, advising Queen Camilla to rest and cancel engagements due to the chest infection. This recent development underscores the string of health concerns within the royal family this year.

Earlier this year, King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis, and Kate Middleton also faced her own cancer scare. Initially believed to be non-cancerous following abdominal surgery, further tests revealed the presence of cancer, leading to chemotherapy treatment for the Princess of Wales. Thankfully, she announced being cancer-free in September and is gradually resuming her royal duties.

King Charles returned to his official duties in April following his cancer diagnosis. The royal family continues to navigate these health challenges, with Queen Camilla's pneumonia being the latest concern.
