Officers in Upper Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, spent 90 minutes rescuing six ducklings trapped in a storm drain on Saturday. The incident occurred near Crimson Leaf Drive and Greenbriar Court around 9 a.m., following a report from a concerned citizen.

Photos shared on the department's Facebook page show officers entering the drain openings to reach the trapped ducklings. The department emphasized their commitment to rescuing all the ducklings, stating they wouldn't leave until every duckling was safe. A local resident assisted the officers with a net and helped contain the ducklings once they were retrieved.

After the rescue, the ducklings were reunited with their mother and enjoyed a swim in a nearby pool before continuing on their way. This heartwarming rescue followed a more challenging day for the department, which had made an arrest the previous day involving a suspect who resisted and used offensive language toward the officers.
