Early Thursday morning, a Greensboro, North Carolina police officer shot and killed an individual reportedly carrying a firearm. The officer was responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle and encountered the individual walking down the street. According to the Greensboro Police Department, the person brandished a weapon as the officer approached, prompting the officer to fire from inside their patrol car. The individual was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
