Created: JANUARY 27, 2025

First Lady Jill Biden, a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, will be present at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans this Sunday, accompanied by her grandson, Hunter. This was reported by USA Today, which also noted that President Joe Biden will not be attending the game. This will be the second consecutive Super Bowl appearance for the First Lady and her grandson, as they also attended Super Bowl LVII, where the Eagles faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs.

This year's Super Bowl is a rematch of that thrilling contest. While the Eagles came close to victory in Super Bowl LVII, the Chiefs ultimately prevailed, launching their current run of dominance. Kansas City has now won three out of the last four Super Bowls and aims to secure their third consecutive championship, a feat unmatched in NFL history.

The First Lady expressed her excitement following the Eagles' recent NFC championship win, proclaiming herself a "Proud Philly girl!" on social media. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is also anticipated to attend the Super Bowl, which would make him the first sitting president to do so. While Trump hasn't explicitly stated which team he'll be rooting for, he hinted at his preference by mentioning a certain "quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner," seemingly referencing Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
