As firefighters continue their battle to contain the Palisades and Eaton fires, the death toll has tragically risen to 25, with numerous individuals still unaccounted for. Strong winds in the region are expected to create an elevated fire risk throughout Wednesday, potentially exacerbating the situation and fueling the growth of new or existing fires. Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley warned of "life-threatening, destructive, and widespread winds" that pose an extreme fire danger.
