In Callaway, Florida, a heated altercation on July 4th led to the arrest of two women after one bit off a portion of the other's ear. The Bay County Sheriff's Office reported that 18-year-old Dixie Stiles was charged with battery, while 23-year-old Macy Regan faces a felony battery charge causing bodily harm.
Deputies were called to a residence on Olokee Street following reports of an assault. Their investigation revealed an unsupervised party hosted by minors at a nearby address. Shortly after midnight, a fight broke out involving several men. As Regan, who was present at the party, attempted to leave and return to her own home, she was confronted by Stiles. Stiles accused Regan of stealing alcohol and vaping devices.

The confrontation escalated, with Regan allegedly drawing a 9mm handgun from her waistband. Stiles pushed the weapon away, and a physical fight ensued. During the struggle, Regan bit off the top part of Stiles' ear, an injury that could not be surgically reattached. Both women sustained additional injuries, including bruises and lacerations.
