On a sunny Saturday in Glendale, Arizona, two mischievous goats led local police on an amusing chase through neighborhood streets and fields. Bodycam footage of the incident, set to cheerful music, shows officers scrambling to apprehend the nimble animals, providing a lighthearted moment for the department and the community.
The Glendale Police Department received a call about the two goats on the loose near 80th and Glendale avenues on July 1st. The ensuing pursuit involved several officers attempting to corral the goats, who proved to be surprisingly elusive. One officer, clearly thrilled with the unusual task, exclaimed, "Hey, let's go! That's how we do it, boys!" upon finally grabbing one of the goats by the horns.
The second goat, equally determined to avoid capture, led officers on a chase through a field before being apprehended with a halter. According to the Glendale Police Department, one of the officers involved had prior experience wrangling animals, having recently "apprehended" a mule. The department playfully dubbed their officers the "G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time)" for their successful capture of the four-legged escapees.
After their brief adventure, the goats were safely returned to their relieved owners. The Glendale Police Department shared the humorous incident on their Facebook page, joking about the goats being "on the lamb." The bodycam footage, complete with added music, quickly gained attention online, providing a welcome dose of levity.
