A quiet Annapolis, Maryland neighborhood was shattered Sunday night by a shooting that left three dead and three injured. Police Chief Ed Jackson has confirmed the arrest of a neighbor, 45-year-old Charles Robert Smith, in connection with the incident. The shooting occurred on Paddington Place, the same street where Smith resides.
According to reports, both a long handgun and a semi-automatic weapon were used in the attack, which authorities believe stemmed from an interpersonal dispute. The three deceased victims have been identified as Hispanic men aged 25, 27, and 55. While the conditions of the surviving victims remain undisclosed, it's known that at least one individual was transported to a trauma center for treatment.

The scene unfolded around 8 p.m. Sunday, drawing a substantial police presence to the residential area located south of the city center and close to the waterfront. Chief Jackson stated that the shooting was not a random act and confirmed that the victims died outside the residence. The specific relationship between the victims and the suspect remains unclear, as do the charges Smith will face.
