Authorities in New York have identified Rex Heuermann as the prime suspect in the Gilgo Beach serial killings. The 59-year-old architect and father of two faces six counts of murder, pleading not guilty. He is accused of killing four women whose remains were found along a Long Island highway between 2010 and 2011. Heuermann resides on Long Island and works in Manhattan at his firm, RH Consultants & Associates.

In Boston, the lawyer for accused serial rapist Matthew Nilo claims the government is "piling on" sexual assault cases against his client in an effort to clear unsolved crimes. Nilo faces multiple charges stemming from incidents dating back to 2007. He has posted bail for two sets of charges.

Fugitive murder suspect Michael Charles Burham was captured on a Ring doorbell camera after allegedly shooting Kala Hodgkin in New York. The footage shows him on a woman's porch, hours after the alleged murder, where he reportedly set fire to a car. Burham was later apprehended after kidnapping a Pennsylvania couple and leading authorities on a multi-state chase, only to escape jail and prompt another manhunt.

James Nott of Kentucky is accused of selling stolen human remains, including skulls, through Facebook. The FBI uncovered his alleged involvement while investigating a larger body part trafficking operation connected to Harvard Medical School's former morgue manager. Nott allegedly used the alias "William Burke" online.

Colorado dentist James Toliver Craig, accused of poisoning his wife with cyanide, allegedly misrepresented his marital status to his girlfriend, Karin Cain. Cain, an orthodontist, stated she was unaware of Craig's marriage. Craig faces first-degree murder charges.

The case of Rudy Farias, the Houston man who reappeared after being reported missing for eight years, has taken another turn. Farias's cousin, Michelle Rodriguez, alleges that his mother abused him and accuses the Houston Police Department of concealing information.
